Matt Cutts Tweeted News Sites May Have Experienced Fall in GoogleBot Crawling in March

Last updated: 0 Comments

Matt Cutts, search spam team head of Google, has recently tweeted that news related sites may have noticed a decline in the crawl statistics of Google Webmaster Tools in the month of March 2014.

As per Matt Cutts, the sites that have seen that fall need not worry. This has happened because of if-modified-since support that Google News added in March 2014. If the words of the search spam team head are believed, the inclusion of the support has made Google News smarter as well as more efficient.
