  1. Google keyword planner tool has always been my favorite tool. But now they dont provide the insight on exact number of searches for the keyword (instead they show search volume range which is not helpful at all) unless and until you set adwords campaign. Would like to know your opinion on it.

    1. I really understand your concern about Google keyword planner but personally, I don’t see any such issues with search volume range because it has never been exact. If you noticed it usually take avg monthly searches in last 12 months into consideration for any particular keyword which itself means that searches keep changing time by time, hence Google may have thought of putting the same in a range. Also, don’t forget adwords is the main money making business for Google, therefore they want you to pay before you can see any better results.

Well…we love SEMrush and recommend anyone who wish to use a paid tool as it comes with great features including keyword research.

I hope I cleared your doubt about the same.

Let me know if you still have any queries.

      1. Thanks for your immediate reply. If google wants to get paid for keyword planner tool then I’d better use highly recommended paid tool SEMrush as it comes with much more helpful features than google can offer.

        1. It doesn’t mean Google wants to get paid for keyword planner tool but yes they do have good features for you if you are using a adwords campaign and for sure SEMrush is a good choice.

  2. I don’t know but, I’ve read an article that says Google removed the free access of Google Keyword Planner? Have you heard about this? Though there are a lot of SEO tools, I prefer Google Keyword Planner when doing a keyword research.

    1. I don’t know which blog you read but Google keyword planner is always free, but yes there are few limitations these days such as AVG searches section now shows searches in a range not as always before.

  3. hi lalit, great list of seo tools, i would like to add keyword reveler tool for keyword research. also your topic selection very good and effective for readers. i will share it to my seo circle of 2k experts.
